'Tis Fall in the Valley

From two years ago

The moon was full and bright
Glowing in the company of puffy clouds
Perhaps enjoying the clean look
After the bloody eclipsed hours.

The air felt cool and dewy
The eastern sky was lighting up
The darkness erased by the colorful magic rays
With the orange and red matched by the pumpkin patches.

Soon, the moon disappeared
And so did the sun
The car ahead of me also vanished
It was fog everywhere.

Rain and fog don't bother me
Because the cosmos has always been kind
'Tis humans who are the dangerous kind
Like the speeding new car that was right behind.

O'er the bridge to the other side
The fog was gone and it was bright.
Fall is here, fall is here
Wake up, dear friend, fall is here.
